Allyson Bakos serves as an Investment Adviser Representative and Chief Compliance Officer at Bakos Investment Management. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals with clarity and confidence. 

Allyson earned her Bachelor’s in Organizational Sciences and Communications from The George Washington University, where she received accolades for her community involvement and leadership competing as a Division I student-athlete on the Women’s Water Polo team. She has a Master’s degree from the University of San Francisco in Sport Management. Prior to Bakos Investment Management, Allyson worked in intercollegiate and professional athletics. Today, she brings that same passion for teamwork and mentorship into her advisory work, where she finds purpose in building close relationships with clients while helping them navigate important financial and life decisions. 

In her spare time, Allyson is the head coach of the Club Women’s Water Polo team at USF, where she was honored as Rookie Coach of the Year in the team’s inaugural season. She also serves on the San Francisco Associate Board of Ambassadors for the American Cancer Society, reflecting her commitment to philanthropy and creating a positive impact in the community.
